Ever wondered what it takes to put a blog post together from start to finish? Well friends I’m excited to share this behind the scenes look at all of the work that goes in to each and every blog post I share!
Blogging is A LOT of work.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it. I’m incredibly honoured at this chance to share our journey. But, I feel like it can be so easy to take for granted all of the time and effort that goes into each and every post I share.
I’m beyond excited to take a few minutes to show y’all what it actually takes to put a blog post together, from start to finish…
I hope y’all enjoyed this little peek behind the blog. I’d love to share more of the workings behind the scenes, so let me know what else you might like to see in the comments below.
And, just in case you’re curious, you can find the finished project here…

Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!

Great post Kristi, it’s amazing how much work really goes into creating blog posts. Only other bloggers can truly relate!
You’re SO right Roxanne!
Blogging is my passion. I don’t think I would put so much time into it, if I didn’t love it so much!
I couldn’t agree more Janine! Thank you!
I loved the video Kristi – truly the amount of work that goes into a post is amazing. If I am sharing a recipe I have to make it, test it actually tastes nice, Remake it , note all the ingredients and the how to.Take lots and lots of pictures. Then write the post. hope I get that Yoast green light and then like you , schedule the heck out of it. Blogging is definitely a passion I think ๐
Thank you so, so much! I had no idea all of the effort that goes into a post behind the scenes until I’d started doing it myself, but it’s definitely so worth it to me! Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing, Kristi! As a new blogger and full time employee, I’ve learned that if I don’t complete 75% of my 2 weekly posts on the weekend, the entire week goes south! Thanks for the reminder that this is indeed a time consuming labor of love even for experienced bloggers!
Oh yes! There’s always more to do than there is time to do it! ๐
