When you think closet organization, IKEA might not be the first source that pops into your head … I can’t wait to show you why it should be!
Is there anything better than starting your day off in a beautifully organized space?
I’m telling you our new master bedroom closet has completely changed our mornings!
Not only is it gorgeous, but what I really love is that everything has a place now!
Building our own custom DIY closet organizer was a great start, giving us the perfect foundation to organize our space.
But, what really took our closet organization to the next level were a few brilliant accessories from, you guessed it … IKEA!
Today, I’ve rounded up some of my faves. Just swing by my latest board on Itsums to find 12 Ways to Organize your Closet with IKEA…
BIG thanks to Itsums for sponsoring this post and making it so darn easy to recommend their brilliant website! You can find more info about Itsums and why I love it so much here.
And be sure to check out how we put some of these fab accessories to work in our new DIY custom closet space!
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
I love how you can have all your purchases on one page with Itsums. You know how much your spending and where the money is going. And, I would have never thought to go to IKEA for closet storage. I can’t wait to check it out during my next trip!
Thanks so much Sarah! Itsums really is THE MOST BRILLIANT planning tool! It’s been such a big help as we plan out all of our renovations!!! And I totally know what you mean, IKEA didn’t even really pop onto my radar for our closet until I went there on a completely different mission and came across all of these great organizing finds.
Gosh, you guys did such a phenomenal job (as always!). Can you swoon over a closet? LOL. I’ve been dreaming of tackling ours for the past three years and your makeover is making me super anxious to get it started! Nice work!
Awwww, well thank you Sarah! Get on it girl! 😉
Your closet looks amazing! Love the wallpaper. It actually looks like it would be enjoyable to use the closet in the mornings. Love your suggestions for IKEA organizing pieces too. We used a couple of the big hooks in my daughter’s room.
Thank you so, so much Joann! I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together, it’s been such a great help to have everything so perfectly organized!
I love your organized closet. I’ve been wanting to do ours but I just couldn’t figure how to do my organization but I love your layout. I would of never thought of IKEA. Thank you!
Thank you so, so much Tami! Building our own closet system gave us the perfect base and then throwing in a few items from IKEA really helped to get it all organized!
Your closet it perfect, Kristi! I’ll have to check out all these amazing Ikea organizing tools next time! You guys rock these makeovers!
Awww, well thanks Kendra! I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together!
Did the individual square boxes come from Ikea?? Or were those purchased elsewhere?

Oooh you made me want to take a trip to Ikea! I finally have the nursery pretty much put together with furniture and decor, but I seriously need to do some organization for the closet. I love all of Ikea’s storage boxes and bins! That hamper is super cute, too.
Look at you go! That’s awesome Jenna! I can’t wait to see it!!! Definitely some great baskets and bins to be found at IKEA!
Oh my goodness this closet looks so beautiful and I love IKEA. These look like very easy things to try. I recently installed new shelving in my closet to try to organize it better. Thanks for sharing! #sitsblogging
SO happy to hear you found this helpful! Thank you so much!
I too love shapping at Ikea. It gives you practical solutions to everyday problems at reasonable prices. I sound like a spokeswoman for them haha. But this is the truth and I know that you too feel the same way Kristi. Pinning and sharing.
Couldn’t agree more Mary! Thank you so, so much!!!
