Turns out adding a fun pop of colour and pattern with wallpaper can take just minutes! And the best part – changing your mind is no big deal, with this removable wallpaper, simply pull it off in just seconds and then re-stick or reuse as many times as you’d like.
Easy to install…
stylish…
removable…
& reusable!
Seriously, this wallpaper does it all!!!
Y’all have been gushing over this gorgeous wallpaper since I first shared it with our design plans for the master closet.
And honestly, I don’t blame you – I’m head-over-heels in love with it too!
Now, those of you that have been following along with our journey for a while will know that I’m not normally much for bright pops of colour in our home. I tend to stick to neutrals, mostly because I’m afraid to commit to much more…
But, thankfully with this brilliant wallpaper from Walls Need Love – I can change my mind whenever I like. Plus, not only does this wallpaper peel off in just seconds, and without a trace of course, but it’s reusable, so I can put it to work again wherever I like. Genius, am I right?!
I couldn’t wait to give this a try, creating a beautiful focal wall in our dreamy master closet!
There were SOOOOO many gorgeous options to choose from, I had the hardest time in the world deciding…
But in the end, I just couldn’t resist the soft colours and pattern of these gorgeous {pastel flowers}…
It arrived really quickly (even waaaaay up here in Canada!) and I couldn’t resist getting right to work!
There wasn’t much to gather up in terms of supplies:
-xacto knife
-scissors
–trim guard
-level
-pretty wallpaper
I began by peeling back 1 foot of the backing paper from the top of my first sheet and simply matching the middle of it to the centre point on my wall. Then, spilling onto the ceiling a few inches, I stuck the sheet in place like a giant sticker. The most important thing to keep in mind when placing that first piece is to make sure it’s perfectly level, so that each subsequent piece that’s lined up with it will be perfectly straight as well. I used a level held up to the side to double check and then simply repositioned the sheet on the wall a few times to ensure everything was as straight as could be. Then, it was just a matter of removing that backing a foot or so at a time and smoothing it all down, ensuring there were no air bubbles left underneath.
With that first piece out of the way, onward I went, lining up each subsequent piece on either side.
This wallpaper is meant to overlap a 1/4 inch on either side, so really it was just a matter of matching the patterns together on each piece.
To really get the wallpaper pushed into the corners, I made use of my trusty trim guard. Which also turned out to be a brilliant too to help me cut all of the edges down with my xacto knife.
And voila! I still can’t believe how quickly and easily this wallpaper went up, I think it may have taken all of 45 minutes from start to finish!
And seriously, how cute is this print?!
Walls Need Love has a tutorial video to help guide through install that you might want to check out too.
HUGE thanks to Walls Need Love for sponsoring this project! This brilliant wallpaper really is SUCH a fun way to add a bright pop of colour in a totally noncommittal way and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

Ahh Kristi, this is amazing! It’s the perfect pop of color and pattern without being over the top. Bonus points for being quick and easy to install!
Awwww, well thank you Sarah! I really love the pattern too and you can’t beat that quick install!
I’m in loooove with this wallpaper! Gosh, wallpaper sure has come a loooong way! Oh man, I’m in trouble – wallpaper everything!
Ahhhh, I feel the very same way Marie!!! Thanks so much!
This is SO cute! I remember removing wallpaper in my parent’s house when I was a kid and it was such a pain. I love that this wallpaper is easily removed (if you ever want to get rid of the adorable pattern, which is unlikely!). You’ve got me dreaming about how I could use this in my laundry room or the nursery!
Thank you Jenna! Though I’ve been wanting it forever, I’ve never been able to commit to actual wallpaper – this was the perfect solution! And I love how it turned out!
Removable wall-paper is a game changer and I’m so glad someone dreamed this stuff up.
I’ve always loved the look of wall papered feature walls but shied away from them because eventually what goes up must come down and stripping regular wall paper is a bear of a job.
YES! I couldn’t agree more Vanessa! It’s so great to be a able to get the look without the commitment! Thanks so much!
Your wallpaper is so cute. I love it!! I wandered over from Work it Wednesday.
Thank you so, so much Angela! I really love the fun pattern and soft colours of it too!
Oh this is so so pretty and perfect Kristi! Love the wallpaper you chose, and now I need this too! Do they ship to Spain??? This would be perfect for my ugly staircase wall. I love the idea and everything, can’t wait to see your closet come together!
Ahhhh, thank you Katrin!!! I’m so happy with how it all came together! I’m not sure about the shipping, but you should definitely get in touch to ask!
Oh my gosh, I am totally crushing on this wallpaper! Can I say that we need to join forces? Haha!
Thank you so, so much! Absolutely!
Kristi, the closet looks so cute with the floral print!! This wallpaper sounds amazing; anything that goes on and off walls easily is my kind of wallpaper! You did a great job on this!!
Ahhhh, thank you Keri! This wallpaper is a total game changer!!!
I had no idea that removable wallpaper existed, it’s a great idea!! The one you chose is really pretty and romantic, love your new closet.
Thanks Pili! I hadn’t heard of it either, but it really is a brilliant product!
This is brilliant! I had never heard of this product before (disappointingly!) but now that I know it’s out there I can’t wait to get myself some!! This looks so simple to use, and it’s amazing that there is the ability to have wallpaper without ever having to strip it off again.
Thank you so much for sharing to the Monday Mish Mash Link Party!
*Hugs*
I’m thrilled to introduce it to you then – it’s absolutely brilliant! You’re going to love it Amy!
Loving everything you do! I will have to shop and see what all kinds they offer. I love the pop of color. Sometimes I lean towards what I’m used to but have been wanting to do something fun in our guest bathroom.
