Welcome to our Farmhouse Summer Porch

Sharing a quick tour of our cozy + welcoming farmhouse Summer porch space…

I don’t know about you, but here in the land of eternal Winter (or seemingly so anyway), we get pretty darn excited when Summer finally decides to grace us with it’s presence!

I’ll tell ya, knowing these long, warm, sunny days will be gone before we know it definitely brings out an appreciation for Summer like no other.

We Canucks know how to really make the most of our far too short Summers, spending every minute we can enjoying the great outdoors. Sometimes that means hiking + biking + days at the lake and sometimes it means just curling up on the porch with a book after a long day.

My sweet friend Krista at The Happy Housie invited me to join in her Seasonal Simplicity Summer series with an outdoor Summer home tour this week (check out last week’s indoor space here) and I thought it would be the perfect time to share our favourite place to kick back and relax through the Summer.

Even though we really only get to use it just a few short months through the year, this little porch is one of our very favourite spaces to spend our time.

No matter what time of day, it’s the perfect spot to kick back and relax all Summer long.

Filled to the brim with beautiful flowers and charming vintage finds, I think it’s such a cozy + welcoming space!

With a few of our favourite DIY projects scattered into the space:

Whether it’s sipping a quiet morning coffee to start the day or curling up with a book and glass of wine to end it, this farmhouse porch is our very favourite place to kick back all Summer long!
