Sharing My Favourite Reads From The Week Just In Time For The Weekend.

Well my friends, we’ve made it through another week. After the craziness of the last few weeks, I’m happy to say that this past week we finally got to enjoy a slower pace. Not only did I knock out a couple of blog posts for next week (finally!), but I even found a few quiet moments to curl up with my latest read. I’m also getting really close to finishing up my first big knitting project, which I hope to share in a couple of weeks. I have to say, I’m pretty smitten with it so far.

Our schedules may have a been a bit emptier this week, but our house is feeling much more full as we move from just one dog to three for the next couple weeks. Three dogs may sound like a lot, but these two new additions are just the sweetest, most well behaved dogs we know. We feel so lucky to have them stay with us – not only do they set such a great example for Charley (who still has SO much to learn), but they have so much fun running around and playing together. Our Charley is so happy to get to have her friends come for a nice, long stay. And our little guy Carson is loving all the excitement (and sharing his room) with these sweet dogs just as much as our pup!

With our first hockey-free weekend since October ahead of us, I’ve got some big plans to put Brady to work on a few projects I’ve been dreaming up – I’m excited to finally get some curtains hung in our living room (loooooong overdue my friends!) and I’m hoping to pull out the nail gun and paint to work on a couple of quick projects in our living room and dining room (keep an eye on my Insta-stories for more on those).
And now, while the house is (relatively) quiet + still, here’s what I’ll be catching up with this weekend…
Weekend Reading

The best white paint colours according to some of my favourite interior designers.
Speaking of fabulous paint colours.
Thinking I may just whip up a batch of this healthy granola today.
And here’s our favourite cozy, Sunday night dinner.
How positively dreamy is this home!

I’ve admired this style of coffee table for ages – feeling inspired to try the DIY version instead with this brilliant tutorial (with sources in the US and Canada).

Wishing you a lovely weekend my friends!

I am so curious as to what you are knitting, I will be patient and wait for you to show us. So far it is beautiful.
Thank you so, so much Laura! Hoping to share all the details next week!
Oh my goodness, three pups sounds like so much fun!
Hahaha! It really has been actually!
