A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday friends! How was your week? With all sorts of adventures with friends and family packed into our week, along with the usual, our week absolutely flew by. On top of all that, Brady continued chipping away at our renovations upstairs, completing the last of the framing and electrical in Carson’s room and getting closer to the same in our own bedroom suite. With just the arches to frame out in our bedroom and ensuite bath as well as a bit of rewiring for our vanity lights (I changed my mind about the lighting layout), we’re getting pretty close to being able to close up the walls and start drywalling – very exciting!!!
Speaking of the bathroom renovation, after far too much time over-thinking all the options, I think I’ve landed on a replacement for the discontinued flooring (I shared our top choice in this week’s Newsletter, you can sign up here if you missed it). I’m still working on the shower tiles, but I think I’ve found a couple of options that could work really well – once the samples arrive, I’ll be sure to share them over in my Insta stories.
Through the weekend ahead, we’re planning to keep chipping away at the renos upstairs – I’ll try to share some progress updates over on Instagram in case you’re curious about how things are going up there. Also, need to decide on a paint colour for our pantry (you can see my fave options in the photo above). Let me know in the comments below, which one is your favourite!
