Hello, hello friends! Happy FRIDAY!
It’s been a bit of a crazy week for us around here.
Not only did we make it through our first full week of school EVER.
Our first week back to piano lessons.
And the first week of mountain bike camp.
But, we did it all through the first snowfall of the season (though what season it actually is is still yet to be determined).
That’s right my friends. Just as those beautiful Fall colours were starting to appear, Mother Nature buried them all in a big, heavy blanket of white.
And there’s more on the way. All. Weekend. Long.
But, I refuse to complain about it.
I have to say, watching Carson’s joyful reaction to it all sure has been contagious. I may not share in his excitement to see the snow, but I just can’t help but smile when I think about it.
Plus, I’m sure all this white stuff isn’t here to stay (you can’t see me, but I’m knocking on wood right now as I type this!).
So, I’ve made my peace with the blanket of white outside our windows right now. And, instead of whining and complaining about it, I’m taking the chance to get extra cozy this weekend with a bit of baking, more Fall decorating and a whole lot of relaxing in front of our first fires of the season.
And now, with a cozy weekend ahead, here’s what I’ll be catching up with…
WEEKEND READING
Swooning over this simple, yet cozy Fall decor.
And this warm + cozy living room has me ready to curl right up with a cup of tea.
LOVE the idea of decorating with natural elements of the season.
SUCH an interesting read on why the modern woman is struggling so much.
Love seeing how others organize their kitchen cupboards and drawers (am I the only one?).
Can’t wait to bake up all this Fall coziness.
Remember when we wanted what we currently have? LOVE this reminder of all the wonderful in our lives!
And what’s on my nightstand of course,
Wishing you a lovely weekend my friends!
