Sharing a quick little catch up and my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday friends! How was your week? I feel like we’re finally getting our feet under us this week after the busyness of the holidays and this new year rolling in. How about you? Have you struggled to settle in and find a good rhythm in this new year?
After two glorious weeks of slowing down through the holidays, I think we were all having a hard time suddenly having to hit the ground running again in this new year. Instead of filling all of our time with activities and expectations, we gave ourselves permission to slow things down and ease back into all the things these past few weeks and I think it really gave us the space we needed to focus on the things we wanted to do and weed out the things we didn’t. Brady and I have spent a lot of time dreaming up ideas and goals for the year ahead – from travel to renovations, we’ve definitely got a clearer picture of what we want to focus on this year. Even more, we’re much clearer on how we’re going to get there too. If you’ve been struggling to set some goals for the year ahead, or maybe you’ve got some ideas about things you’d like to do, but not necessarily a super clear road map about how to get there, I’d definitely recommend giving yourself some extra time and space to slow down and just sit in the quiet if you can (I know that’s so much easier said than done). I can’t wait to share more about our plans for the year ahead, but for now, you can catch up with a few of our ideas in the posts linked below…
