How to set a light + airy farmhouse Spring table in just minutes.

Spring is in the air my friends! And after months + months (+ months) of being buried under a blanket of white, I really couldn’t be more excited to see Spring finally rolling in!
I’m thrilled to be taking part in the I DIY-ed That Spring Blog Hop today, hosted by my lovely friend Jennifer at Noting Grace. If you’re popping over from Uniquely Taylor Made, welcome – if not, be sure to swing back there to catch the pretty wall hanging she’s sharing today! And of course, you can find even more beautiful Spring decorating inspiration linked up at the bottom of this post.
But first, I can’t wait to show you this simple, light + airy farmhouse Spring table setting!

It’s been such a looooong Winter my friends. I couldn’t be more excited to pack away all of those heavy, cozy Winter layers and pull out all the light + airy Spring decor! And for my first official decor post for Spring 2019, I’m kicking things off with this simple, yet elegant farmhouse Spring table. So my friends, let the Spring decorating begin!

So, it all started with a classic buffalo check tablecloth that I came across on my latest trip to the city (check out my entire Spring shopping haul here). The light colours felt just like Spring (similar here).

On top of that I laid some lovely hyacinth placemats (similar here) – I’ve had them for years now and always love the texture and warmth they bring to my table settings.

On top I placed my favourite white dishes, layered with a pretty napkin striped with blush and cream tones for a subtle pop of colour. And then finished things off with this classic style flatware.

Down the centre, I simply scattered some bottle vases filled with inexpensive wax flower stems that I picked up at the grocery store and mixed in this beautiful set of white mercury glass votives for a touch of sparkle.

A pretty blush pink pillow brightens up the end chairs and ties it all together.

I really love the simplicity of it all – just a few lovely little details coming together to create a light + airy table for Spring.

You can see how I put the whole look together in the video below:

And now, the Spring decor inspiration continues with my talented friend Suzy at Worthing Court (and her always impeccably styled shelves!). And of course, don’t forget to check out the other beautiful Spring DIY ideas linked up below.
