All of the holiday decor finds I’ve been eyeing up to deck our halls for the holiday season this year.
I can’t even believe Christmas day is just over one month away! I swear, the holiday season seems to sneak up on us faster and faster with each passing year. Between renovations, after school activities and busy work schedules, life feels busier than ever lately, so we’ve been embracing a slower pace with our holiday decor this year. Rather than pulling it all out and decorating the whole house in one fell swoop like usual (which frankly, feels more overwhelming and exhausting than holiday decorating should), we’ve been working our way through a bin or two of decorations with each passing week. I’ve honestly really enjoyed to spreading out our decorating this year – it’s been SO fun to take the time to reminisce together as we pull out our favourite decorations and find a special place to display each one throughout the house. I’m not sure there’s anything more nostalgic for me than seeing our house all decked out for the holidays!
We’ve grown quite a collection of holiday decor pieces over the years. While I look forward to pulling out our old holiday decor, I can never resist adding a few new pieces into the mix as well. Buying just a few pieces at a time has allowed us to not only spread out the cost of building up our extensive collection of decor, but even more, it’s been the very best way to ensure we’re filling our home with holiday pieces that we truly love.
