Whether you’re looking for some inexpensive art to fill that empty wall space, or you’d just really like the ability to customize the size and colours of your artwork, look no further my friends … this DIY stencil art was SO simple & inexpensive to make and you’ll love being able to create exactly what you’re looking for!
If you followed along with our recent powder room renovation, you’ll know what a challenge this little space was to pull together.
I swear, every little thing went wrong in the space…
And it seemed that every thing we had planned for this space, took at least 10 times longer than it should have.
Except this…
This simple DIY stencil art was about the only thing in that entire room that actually came together as planned.
And, now that we’ve finally recovered from the stress & mayhem of renovating our powder room, I can’t wait to show you how simple it was to make!
What you’ll need to make your own DIY stencil art:
– 1/2″ thick MDF cut to desired size
– 1×2 strips cut to size to frame the MDF
– paint (I used “Cloud White” and “Contented“)
– stain
– paint roller
– favourite stencil (I used this Lisabetta stencil from Royal Design Studio)
– sawtooth picture hanger
I couldn’t be happier with how this beautiful DIY stencil art turned out!
It was SO simple to make and I especially love the ability to customize the size and colours for the space!
See how I put it to work in our new farmhouse style powder room:

HUGE thanks to the wonderful folks at Royal Design Studio for sponsoring this post!
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
