Simple ideas to help you style your china cabinet in farmhouse style…
A little extra storage in the dining room is always a good thing.
A buffet cabinet or side table is the perfect place to tuck away all sorts of kitchen and dining essentials…
But sometimes you want a place to display some of your faves instead of tucking them away behind closed doors.
Just like any sort of open shelving though, china cabinets can take a bit of practice (and a lot of trial and error) to get right.
Which is why I thought I’d share my own farmhouse china cabinet with the hope that it inspires you to maybe play around with your own a bit too!

It’s so pretty Kristi! The dishes look perfect in the China cabinet. I love all of the white!
Thank you so, so much Sarah! xo
I have a cabinet that looks very similar but has screening instead of glass in the doors and on the sides of the cabinet. I also have a set of bun feet that I bought for another project sitting around. The photos of your China cabinet gave me some wonderful ideas for how to go about upgrading my cabinet! It will be a great rainy weekend project in the shop…..and pretty inexpensive. All I need is some plexiglass and two boards and some paint! Thanks!
Oh, your arrangement looks lovely by the way!
I’m SO happy to hear that you’re feeling inspired!!! Sounds like you’ve got a great project on your hands now. Thanks so much!
