3 things I always consider when styling a shelf (arguably the trickiest part of decorating!)…
Maybe it’s just me, but I always find styling shelves to be the trickiest part of decorating a space.
I swear, I can often pull together an entire room in less time than it takes me to style a single shelf.
I never know what to use, where to put it all and of course how much I can pack onto each little shelf before it looks like I belong on an episode of hoarders. #thestruggleisreal my friends!
The truth is, I don’t think there is any one way to style a shelf.
It’s really just a whole lot of trial and error – moving things around, stepping back to take it all in and then shuffling things a bit more until you’ve got it just right.
But, there are a few “rules” I always keep in mind when styling a shelf…
These Grange Bookcases from The Brick are the perfect mix of open shelving for display and covered shelves and drawers to keep everything else organized and tucked away! And the “Cobblestone” colour is a classic warm grey that I know we’ll love for years to come!
