Happy Thursday!!! And welcome back to Day 4 of {All Things Fall}! I’ve been so hard at work putting together all sorts of Fall decor to cozy up my home and hoping to inspire you all along the way! Today I’ll be taking y’all on a tour of my Fall porch and entry way and, let me tell you, I’m pretty excited to finally be sharing a peek at how all of these Fall projects are coming together!
So, grab yourself a warm cuppa and take a look …
I’d like to apologize now for my incredibly dusty front porch! I hadn’t realized that it was so desperately needing a good cleaning! Another addition to our “get it done before the snow flies” list!
I’m pretty darn excited about that gorgeous barnwood sign! How lucky that we were able to salvage such perfect boards to make it with!
Nothing says Fall like a pumpkin on the porch!!! Carson was SO excited when he discovered this one on our last trip to Walmart! Not only did he refuse to leave the store without it, but he insisted it ride home on the floor at his feet (well, technically that was a compromise as I wouldn’t let him travel with it on his lap!), and was quite upset every time we turned a corner and it rolled even the slightest bit, shouting “oh noooooo!” One week later and he still goes to check on it every morning! Who knew pumpkins were such an important part of a young boy’s life?! Though hubs and I may not feel quite so strongly about pumpkins, you can bet we’ll be adding a few more to the porch before the trick-or-treaters come knocking on our door!
And … I’ve finally finished the Fall wreath for my front door, thanks to these inspiring wreaths that I rounded up from my bloggy friends! I promise to share all the deets on this baby soon!
Of course, the Fall decor continues inside the house as well!
You may recognize my shabby-chic pumpkins that I made as part of our Pick Your Pumpkin Challenge with 10 other creative bloggers. They look SO perfect nestled in on the stairs!!!
You’ll also notice my burlap & lace garland from earlier this week.
To the left of the door is an old little side table (just begging for a makeover if you ask me!) where we like to set our keys.
I love the punch of red that this mini-rose bush brings to this corner!
And to the right is a lovely window ledge – one of my very favorite parts of our little front entry! It’s such a perfect place to display my favorite things!
Straight ahead, there’s also a half wall directly across from our front door which separates the dining room from the entry. I love to fill it up with all sorts of fun treasures and there’s ALWAYS a plant tucked into the corner!
And that’s it for now. It may not look like much, but considering I’m starting completely from scratch, I’m pretty proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish here!
Be sure to check back tomorrow for more Fall fun!!! Tomorrowโs post is sure to inspire you to get your front porch ready for Fall! And, to make sure that you donโt miss a thing, subscribe to receive my posts right to your inbox. You can even choose to see them each morning they go live or just once week, whatever works best!
Wishing you all SUCH a lovely day!!!
