Embroidery art is such a lovely way to bring that vintage, nostalgic feel to any space and with these beginner kits, it’s easier than you’d think to create your own.

If you’re looking for a new hobby that you can take on from the comfort of your own home, I’ve got just the thing…

With its ties to homemade arts of the past, you can’t help but feel a cozy sense of nostalgia sitting down with a needle in your hand and an embroidery hoop on your lap. Though I think it became a bit of a lost art over the years, there’s certainly been a resurgence lately as we gravitate towards those feelings of nostalgia.
I’ve only just discovered embroidery (see my first project here), but I’m already head-over-heels in LOVE! Not only are there so many beautiful patterns and colours to work with, but there’s also the most incredible kits that are perfect for a beginners like me, filled with everything you need to get started.
So today, I thought I’d share a few that have caught my eye in case you find yourself looking to take on a new hobby from the comfort of your sofa too…

Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!

Hi Kristi! I have read that this craft is coming back. I used to embroider (gee is that the right way to say it..Lol) but mine always ended up a mess on the back of my piece. Maybe I was a stressed embroiderer? I pulled too tight on the threads. I like the one with the pine trees and the barn. My grandmother used to sit in her chair for hours and sew away. We don’t have Netflix so looking at your book selections helps in this quarantine time. I can’t watch This is Us due to the scary break-in story line…eeek! So many watching Hunters? Maybe I’ll just order some embroidery to do:0)
I have those same memories of my Grandma too, which is why working on projects like this feels so nostalgic for me I think. Ordering up some embroidery (or books, or other crafts) is a great way to cozy up and pass the time at home right now. Thanks so much Lori!
