These craft kits for kids are the perfect way to introduce a new hobby to your kiddos from the comfort of your own home.

Well my friends, we’re officially heading into our fourth week of #stayinghome and I don’t know about you, but it’s starting to feel a whole lot like Groundhog Day around here. With every day feeling very much like the day before, we’ve been on the hunt for some fun ways to bring some new energy and excitement back to our days, especially for our kiddo. If you follow along with us on Instagram, you’ll already know about some of the fun activities and ideas we’ve been trying to add to our days to break through that monotony – card games + board games, writing letters to friends + family, baking treats + trying new recipes, puzzles, movies, long walks, practicing gratitude, and of course, a whole lot of reading. But, one of our favourite ways to bring some fun to our days is learning some new hobbies together.

This past week, Carson and I have been spending our afternoons learning to paint watercolor – we’ve been especially loving the daily lessons in this book, as well as these video lessons on Instagram (you can read more about what we ordered to get started here). Not only has it been something fun to look forward to each afternoon, but it’s been such a great way for us both to get creative and learn a new art together.

In fact, we’re enjoying it so much, it’s had us looking into some other creative crafts we could try out together too and so, I thought I’d share some of our favourite finds in case you’re looking for some fun crafts to take on with your own kiddos from the comfort of home too.
