SHARING MY FAVOURITE READS FROM THE WEEK

Happy Halloween weekend my friends! Do you have any fun plans to celebrate? I know things are feeling quite different this year, but hopefully you’ve still got some fun to look forward to tomorrow. We’ve had to make a few adjustments this year, but we’re still trying to do all the fun Halloween things – pumpkin carving (it was C’s first time carving all on his own – well, mostly anyway – I think he did SUCH a great job!), costumes of course and even a bit of trick-or-treating (though we’ll be sticking just to our own street this year). Even if it all looks a little different this year, a little quieter and a little less carefree, we’re still hoping that Carson can experience all the fun that he’s come to look forward to on Halloween. Wishing you a safe and fun Halloween tomorrow!

PS. I’m going to share an update on all the reno projects for next week’s Currently post, so keep an eye out for that Monday.
ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK
On Monday, I shared an update about all of our basement progress this past month and what we’ve still got left to go.

Then Wednesday, I shared 20 beautiful holiday home tours that are inspiring my Christmas decor this year.

And now, before I get back to working on all the things, here’s what I’ll be catching up with this weekend…

Okay, how adorable are these Halloween hot chocolate bombs!
I really loved this take on how to be content with your home, no matter what stage it’s in.

Some great advice about how to do an accent wall the right way.
And 10 ways to make a small room look bigger.
I always look forward to Inspired by Charm’s holiday decor! I found this post about how he plans his Christmas decor SO informative and helpful.

And I shared this one last year, but this deep dive into stressful holiday obligations is worth sharing again.

This creamy french onion and mushroom soup would make for a perfect cozy dinner on a cold day.
Can’t get enough of this Insta-feed. Who knew a brand new build could have so much old charm!

And finally, here’s what’s on my nightstand right now.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend my friends!
