Happy Friday friends! We’ve made it through another week! It was a short week for us thanks to Easter Monday and I swear the days just seemed to fly by in a blink in around here. We had a pretty quiet Easter weekend, thanks in part to a cold I came down with – luckily it seemed to pass just as quickly as it came. Even luckier, it rolled in after we had the chance to sneak off to the city for dinner, a show and breakfast with my family the next morning. It was such a fun way to kick off our Easter weekend!
The weather has been pretty cold and snowy this past week too, which is never fun to see this time of year (although definitely not a surprise either). After so many months of Winter, it’s always a little disheartening to see it sneak back in once Spring starts to arrive. After watching big, fluffy snowflakes fall all day on Tuesday, we woke up to a Winter wonderland Wednesday morning and, though I can’t say I was excited to see all that snow, the sun was shining away and it sure did make for a beautiful view outside our windows all day.
This weekend we don’t have much planned. We should probably take advantage of the free days and tackle a few projects around the house, but instead, I think we’ll just roll through our days and see where they take us. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead my friends!
