I’ve envisioned a vintage painting or two stacked over this little table in our entry way since the day we moved it. As you know, we’ve had a lot on our plates since then (catch up with all the things here if you missed it), which means sourcing vintage art for this little corner was definitely on the back burner, but as we start knocking out some of these quick & easy projects on our to-do list, I’ve been feeling a little more motivated to to take on a bit more around here and our entryway seems like a perfect place to start.
This beautiful antique cabinet belonged to my mother-in-law and her mother before that. It’s sturdy and full of character and one of my very favourite pieces in our home. It actually lived in this very spot as Brady was growing up here, with a lovely piece of art hanging proudly above it (which we now have hanging over our fireplace instead). While I’d love to hang an authentic vintage painting above this beautiful cabinet, I have yet to cross paths with that perfect piece (let alone two). While I plan to keep my eyes open for a vintage painting to hang here, I figured it couldn’t hurt to find some inexpensive vintage inspired art to tide us over in the mean time. So, this week I made it my mission to hunt down all the vintage style art prints I could find along with some inexpensive vintage style brass frames to hang them. I’ve been saving all my favourites along the way and today, I thought I’d share them with you.
