Things are moving right along in our little cottage style bunk room. I managed to get the ceiling and walls painted a few weeks ago (Edgecomb Gray on the walls & Cloud White for the ceiling and trim in case you were wondering), which allowed us to finally get the bunk beds out of our old office and all set up in their new home.
Last week I shared our design plans for this little modern cottage bunk room and today I thought it would be fun to share some of the quilt options I’d considered for for the bunk beds, including which ones I actually went with and why.
My Favourite WHITE Modern Cottage Style Quilts + Coverlets

1. Pillow Quilt | 2. Belgian Flax Linen Quilt | 3. Organic Cotton White Coverlet | 4. Linen Floral Stitch | 5. Dreamy Gauze Cotton Quilt | 6. Cotton Medallion Fringe Coverlet | 7. Reversible Quilt Set | 8. Ladder Stripe Coverlet | 9. Scalloped Edge Cotton Quilt
My Favourite Colourful Modern Cottage Style Quilts + Coverlets

1.Linen Hand Crafted Quilt | 2. Belgian Flax Linen Floral Stitch Quilt | 3. Tencel Quilt | 4. Pick-Stitch Reversible Striped Cotton Quilt | 5. Belgian Flax Hand Crafted Quilt | 6. Dot Stitch Reversible Quilt Set | 7. Linen Floral Stitch Quilt | 8. Grey Solid Quilt | 9. Belgian Flax Floral Stitch Quilt
Honestly, I wanted every single one of these options (a mix of quilts could look SO charming!), but knowing we had to purchase not one, but 4 sets had me shopping through only the most budget friendly options. In the end, I ended up ordering four of these cute little dot stitch quilt sets and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The fabric is SO soft (Carson comments on this every time he crawls into one of these beds!) and the colour contrasts beautifully with the white bed frames while still feeling light & neutral. Although the quilt and sheets sets I went with are more neutral colours, I’m planning to add some fun pops of colour and pattern to the beds with some handmade quilts thanks to my Mom. I think they’ll look adorable folded up at the end of each bed, or maybe I’ll get a little more wild and use them as the actual bedspreads (I mean how cute would four mismatched quilts look on those simple white bunkbeds!).
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day my friends!Â
