The Cozy Christmas Scenes that are inspiring my holiday decor this year.

I may or may not be (but most definitely am) listening to Christmas music as I type this. I’ve had Christmas on my mind for weeks now – I think since our first snowfall in mid-October. I mean, it’s hard to not crave all the cozyness that Christmas brings as the weather turns cold, the days grow short and everything outside is covered in a fresh blanket of snow. And now, with Halloween safely behind us, I am SO thrilled to be able to start pulling out some of our Christmas decor. I tend to take my time with Christmas decorating (mostly because there’s a lot), I usually start with the greenery, some ribbon and a few candles (which, if you caught my Insta stories this weekend, you’ll already know we started on this weekend!), but through the next couple of weeks, the rest of the boxes and bins slowly find themselves scattered around the house. I’ve stuck with a pretty traditional palette the last several years (check out last year’s Christmas decor here) – mainly plaids with a bit of creamy coloured knits and faux furs mixed in, but this year, I’m toying around with changing things up a bit. I can’t wait to share my holiday decor plans! But first, I thought it might be fun to share some of the cozy Christmas images that have been inspiring me this year.
Though I know it might feel a bit too early for a Christmas post for many of you, hopefully you’ll find some inspiration to save for when the time to decorate for the holidays does come around. So, grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate, cozy up under a warm blanket and take a scroll through the cozy Christmas images that will be inspiring our holiday home.
