Good morning!
I know just what you’re thinking … nothing but crickets for the past two weeks and now two whole posts in just three days – this girl’s on a roll, right?!
Well, this just may be the shortest post EVER, simply because it was SUCH a quick and easy craft! Today I’m sharing what may just be the prettiest glass glitter pine cones you’ve ever seen (if I do say so myself anyway)!
These beauties were made with just four simple steps:
One. Collect pine cones because, well, it’s pretty hard to make this project without them! This was Carson’s favorite part – he had such a blast filling up his wagon with every pine cone he passed, which made for a very long, but very fun walk around our neighborhood!
Two. Working one-by-one of course, coat each pine cone with some glue. I simply painted some Mod Podge onto all of the tips to resemble mounds of snow.
Three. Working over a dish to catch any excess, spoon some glitter over the glue and then set aside to dry. I’ve been dying to try Miss Mustard Seed’s German Glass Glitter (pick it up from Amazon here) for ages and figured this was the PERFECT opportunity! As you can see, it’s pretty AHHHHMAZING!
Four. Attach some string or ribbon to the top of your pine cone with a dab of hot glue to create a hanger. I chose to use some simple twine to make the hanger, but added a pretty bow to cover the ends.
I seriously can’t get over this beautiful glass glitter!!! I’ve never seen anything sparkle so BRILLIANTLY in all my life!
Have you played around with glass glitter yet? Or, are you dying to try it now too?
Thank you SO much for popping by! Wishing you SUCH a wonderful day!
