Over the past several months I’ve been exploring a shift in my home decor style and how that translates to the way I want our home to feel. At first, this evolution of style had me feeling a little stuck (you can read more about that here), but as I sat with it for a while and really paid attention to what I was most drawn to and even more, the why behind that, how to work this change of style into our home started to become much more clear. In fact, a few months ago I shared a post all about how I plan to start bringing some cottage style to our main living spaces (check it out here), slowly collecting pieces that bring that warmth and character that I’m looking to surround myself with.
Collecting these new pieces has been a slow process. I really want to be intentional about everything I bring into our home, focusing on the feeling that each new piece can bring to a space.
