Wall paper is back my friends, and for good reason! Not only is it a great way to bring some colour, pattern and texture to a space, but it has this way of evoking those cozy feelings of nostalgia the world seems to be craving lately. And I for one am totally here for it!

I’ve been looking for the perfect place to put some wallpaper to work in our home for a while now and, let me tell you, I’ve had no trouble coming up with ideas… Wouldn’t our main floor powder room would feel so charming with something like this? I think this plaid pattern would look SO sweet in Carson’s room. And, if we ever get around to re-doing our master bathroom and closet, I’d really love to bring in something like this.

When I shared the design plans for our basement powder room the other day, I mentioned that I was finally going to take a leap of faith, covering all of the walls with this bold print. Here’s hoping this jump outside my comfort zone is going to pay off big in the end, creating a bold bathroom space that will add to the coziness of our new basement. I keep telling myself that there’s no better place to push our design limits than in a basement!

Now, I’ve actually been shopping wallpaper for a while now, filing it away for the day I’d finally work up the courage to bring some into our home. I’ve saved colours and patterns from opposite ends of the spectrum and everywhere in between, but the one thing I think they all have in common is their vintage inspired vibe mixed with the perfect amount of modern. I’ve collected all sorts of inspiration over my many months of “window shopping”. In fact, the Wallpaper Bookmark tab in my browser is overflowing with links to beautiful wallpaper, but the trouble is that I can’t see any of them unless I actually open the link (definitely not the most efficient way to shop). So today, for your benefit as much as my own, I’m gathering all of my favourites in one place – this is going to make wallpaper shopping SO much easier than opening 36 bookmark tabs!
