This farmhouse flower box was SO simple to create and makes for the perfect farmhouse decor all year round!
Y’all, I’m seriously SO excited about this series! I mean honestly, who doesn’t have 10 minutes to spare?
On the first Wednesday of each month, I’ve been teaming up with an amazing group of bloggers to bring you all sorts of inspiration that you’re sure to love. This month’s theme was {easy flower arranging}, and I cannot wait to see the lovely ideas that everyone came up with!
But first,
I’ll be sharing my own simple farmhouse flower box…
I started with a simple DIY flower box we whipped up last year (find the tutorial here) and a few hydrangea flowers.
I popped the heads from the stems and tucked the tops into my flower box…
That’s it!
It doesn’t get much simpler than that!!!
It looks absolutely perfect in our new farmhouse style dining space!
This DIY farmhouse flower box took just minutes to make, but it’s definitely been one of our most used ever – it’s just SO versatile! See how I’ve put it to work with some other projects below:
Now, just in case you saw something you absolutely loved in our new dining space, I’ve linked up sources for all of my decor below:

I love your handmade box and the flower tips look so pretty in it!
So very pretty! I don’t have hydrangeas unfortunately but my peonies are getting ready to bloom and I’m thinking those would look pretty as well. I’m going to take a look at the instructions for the box too! I have lots of reclaimed wood that I think would work really well for this. Love all of the other ideas posted for flower arrangements!
LOVE peonies Lauren! I can’t wait to plant some of my own someday! SO happy you’re feeling inspired to use up some of that reclaimed wood!
So pretty! The wooden flower box with white hydrangeas goes perfectly with your neutral and white farmhouse decor. It makes a nice, simple centerpiece that doesn’t overpower your table.
Thanks so much Carol! I love the simplicity of it too!
I’ve been searching for one of these for a long time and haven’t found one that is reasonably priced yet. Guess it’s time to make one! Thanks for the instructions and beautiful pictures.
Oh good, well I’m thrilled to hear that you’re feeling inspired to make your own! Thanks so much Sandra!
