Antique Shopping

Good morning!

This is a post I’ve been wanting to share for ages!

I was lucky enough to spend my Saturday shopping down across the border in big city Spokane! Of course I hit up all of the usual suspects: Hobby Lobby, Target, Macy’s (I mean really this list could go on forever!). But before I can step foot anywhere else, my very first stop is ALWAYS a little antique shop on North Monroe … Paint in my Hair has to be one of my absolute favorite shops ever! It is filled to the brim with all sorts of lovely treasures and, every time I visit, I just wish I could take the entire store home with me! Every single item is full of rustic charm and antiquey (Brady tells me all the time that I can’t just invent words, but I figure they all have to start somewhere!) goodness! I should also mention here that I was in no way compensated for this post – I just happen to {love} this little shop with all my heart and couldn’t help but share some of their wonderful treasures with you!

I really had SO much fun browsing through all sorts of treasures! Paint in my Hair is an amazing little shop that you simply MUST visit if you’re ever in the Spokane area! They also sell Annie Sloan Chalk Paint products and even offer classes, so you can create your own perfect piece! Check them out on Facebook for all the details and follow along to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

And, if you really have a love for all things antique, you can check them out with about a zillion other venders at the Farm Chicks Antique Show held every Summer. Hopefully I’ll see you there next year!!!

What was your favorite Paint in my Hair piece?

Wishing you all SUCH a lovely day!

You’re cracking me up with the making up of words! I do the same thing and Joey jokingly/sarcastically tells me I should be a “wordologist”… Then, I have to set him straight that the correct term is actually “wordographer”. Heehee! If only there were such a career… I’d so be all over that. :)

Antique shops are SO fun. I love seeing these pics, and wanted to take several things home with me. Found this post through Imparting Grace, but it was so fun to have you at Pin Your Friday Favorite too this week :)

Ooo fun shop! I need to make a list of vintage mercantiles around me and this one is close (enough!). How are the prices? Thanks for sharing!

It is SO fun Karisa!!! How neat that we live so close to one another – I love that you’ll be able to visit this shop for yourself! The prices are amazing – you can get an idea of what things cost from the pictures that they share on facebook. Everything is FAR less expensive than most other antique stores and for the most part, the refinishing/ painting is done for you!

Hi. Found your beautiful blog via the Share it Sunday Party. Happy I checked yours out. I did so because I love to add a couple vintage pieces to each space and yours caught my eye. Thanks for the eye candy!!! I so wish I lived near enough to visit. I live in St. Louis and we have a similar store there called The White Rabbit. I have no participation in this whatsoever but I wrote a similar piece about that shop last Christmas. I will have to follow along with your blog now as we think alike!! I’ll check out all of your social media options.

Quick Question: I noticed you added “Shared With” at the bottom of your post and I saw it on a couple other blogs recently. Do you just add the links or is there a plug-in or something? Thanks.

Thank you so much for popping by Dana! I’m SO happy that we’ve connected – it sounds like we have very similar tastes! I’ll have to check back for your post too!!!

As for the links, I can’t speak for everyone else, but I add my links as I link up to each one.
