Hello! Welcome back to another round up of beautiful decorating ideas that you can whip up in just 10 minutes or less!

10 Minute Decorating

Y’all, I’m seriously SO excited about this series! I mean honestly, who doesn’t have 10 minutes to spare?

On the first Wednesday of each month, I’ve been teaming up with an amazing group of bloggers to bring you all sorts of inspiration that you’re sure to love. This month’s theme was {Flowers} and I cannot wait to see what everyone came up with!

I had SO many ideas swirling around in my head for this month’s theme … I mean there really are a ton of pretty ways to decorate with flowers!

In fact, I’ve shared more than a few on the blog here already…

If you’ve been following along at all, you know I’m a neutral sort o’ gal at heart – I love incorporating natural elements and nothing makes me swoon more than all things white or wood. But, one of my very favourite ways to bring a bit of life to a room is by adding a few flowers into the mix. Honestly, there’s just something about a little pop of colour that really brings a room to life.

Obviously, fresh is always a nice way to go, but really let’s face it, their short life span tends to make them more of a little treat enjoyed just once in a while rather than an every-day accessory to a space.

Enter the faux flower.

Seriously, one of my very favourite decor accessories. No matter the season or the space, faux plants are a great way to introduce a pop of colour and a bit of life.

I’ve actually grown (ha!) quite a collection of faux lately… I mean, how could I resist these gorgeous things?

Thankfully, this month’s 10 Minute Decorating has given me the perfect chance to put some of these pretty flowers to work!

And so, I sat down with a collection of faux flowers that I’d snapped up on sale at Michaels a few weeks ago and a simple gold display box (I found mine at H & M, but Amazon has some gorgeous options here and here).

Using a bit of moss to create a base to hold my flowers, I simply popped a few flower heads from their stems and poked the ends into the moss to keep them all in place.

Just a few pretty flowers later and I had a lovely little terrarium so perfect for Spring & Summer.
