5 simple mason jar flower arrangements perfect for your spring and summer decor!
Hello! Welcome back to another round up of beautiful decorating ideas that you can whip up in just 10 minutes or less!
Y’all, I’m seriously SO excited about this series! I mean honestly, who doesn’t have 10 minutes to spare?
On the first Wednesday of each month, I’ve been teaming up with an amazing group of bloggers to bring you all sorts of inspiration that you’re sure to love. This month’s theme was {Mason Jars} and I’ve just got to share this little peek at what everyone came up with!
Like so many of you, I couldn’t be more ready for Spring! The fresh air, warm temperatures, grass, flowers, sunshine … {sigh}.
Unfortunately, here in northern Alberta, Spring tends to take it’s sweet time – one day melting through our massive snowbanks and then dumping five inches of fresh powder the next.
Though it seems to take forever really, it always comes along … eventually.
Because our Spring season always feels much too short, I can’t help but stretch it out as much as possible by bringing a bit of Spring inside our home too!
And nothing, my friends, says spring like some pretty flowers in mason jars…
And so, today I thought I’d share 5 creative ways to add some lovely flowers to your decor with some simple mason jar vases.
Throw a little sprig of greenery into a mason jar for a simple, rustic look.
Or add a small bunch of flowers to make more of an impact.
You can even use some pretty faux greenery for a touch of colour that lasts all year long.

Group a few jars together to fill a larger space.
I built this simple wood planter box for mine last Spring (find the tutorial here), for a bit of rustic charm.
Or, you might choose to hang them on the wall for some pretty farmhouse character.
I absolutely adore the simplicity of a few mason jar vases scattered around the house! Filled with a few lovely flowers, they make for such a pretty way to bring a bit of colour and life into every room!

And now, I cannot wait to check out what all of my talented bloggy friends came up with!
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!

My favorite is the blue jars with flowers in box you made. Whatever it is about that blue speaks to me, have it in living room along with light gray, white and some coral. Am person that has to have color. I dress that way also.
Your flowers make the jars perk right up. Enjoy rest of your week and pray for Spring. At least we can integrate Spring into our homes before mother nature is ready outside.
Kristi says
Thank you so much JaneEllen! You are so right – might as well bring it inside until it starts to pop up outdoors. 😉

Kristi these are all special but I can’t pick which is my favorite. Is it the blue mason jars which are so striking in color or is it the one with all the pretty pink flowers? It certainly doesn’t help that your photography is so stunning, making it even harder for me to choose. I hope by the time I finish writing this Spring will have sprung in Alberta! Thank you for joining us at Sweet Inspiration.
